Your Next Challenge at Techso
Are you passionate about optimizing engineering processes and driving digital transformation in manufacturing companies?
Would you like to put your business analysis and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expertise to work on innovative projects with leading industry players?
Techso is looking for a PLM Business Analyst to support our clients in analyzing their processes and implementing innovative digital solutions across Canada and internationally.
In this role, you'll be much more than an analyst. You'll become a trusted business partner, able to understand stakeholder needs, translate them into clear objectives, and support the transformation of our clients' engineering processes.
Who We Are
Founded in Montreal in 2014, Techso helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation through three areas of expertise:
- IT Infrastructure Management;
- Custom Application Development;
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Our team works with recognized clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, finance, events, and watchmaking.
At Techso, we value the quality of our projects and relationships over volume. Our core values—Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality—guide both the way we work with our clients and how we collaborate as colleagues.
What You'll Do
Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:
- Analyze the business context and identify all stakeholders (teams, groups, or processes impacted);
- Gather and understand stakeholder needs and translate them into clear, precise, and actionable objectives;
- Structure, formalize, and maintain functional and non-functional requirements documentation, ensuring constant alignment with business priorities;
- Work with technical and operational teams to design solutions tailored to the issues identified;
- Facilitate collaborative workshops with stakeholders to validate, adjust, and refine proposed solutions;
- Work closely with the Business Process Architect to draft transformation documents and validate business cases once solutions are implemented;
- Support clients through transformation phases, including change management and business process optimization;
- Actively contribute to testing, qualification, and validation phases to ensure solutions comply with the defined requirements;
- Share your business analysis expertise to support and mentor other teams within the organization.
The Profile We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering;
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the aeronautics or aerospace sector;
- Solid experience in Product Lifecycle Management, including business process analysis and the implementation or support of PLM solutions such as Dassault Systèmes, PTC, or Siemens;
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite;
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL;
- Strong proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Minitab;
- The ability to model and break down business processes using modeling tools such as ARIS, IcePanel, or C4;
- Knowledge of a programming language, particularly Visual Basic;
- Ease facilitating workshops and end-user training, and presenting to project stakeholders;
- The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, orally and in writing, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally, including an English-speaking clientele;
- Availability to travel within the Montreal area to meet clients as needed, and a willingness to relocate internationally for assignments abroad.
